Why Hijab is Necessary?

There are many sisters who have failed to understand the actual meaning of Hijab. Hijab means covering. Islam desires the preservation of social tranquility and familial peace. Hence, it asks women to cover themselves in their inter-actions with men, whom they are not related to.
The dangerous consequences of the Western culture of nakedness and permissiveness are before us. We should think twice before blindly trying to imitate Western life-styles.

In actuality, hijab is practiced by both men and women. Muslims follow the rules of hijab to show their obedience to and love for God. According to the Hadith, men and women should behave reasonably in situations where they meet each other. They must avoid seeing someone of the opposite sex and also speaking with respect to one another, and not touching members of the opposite sex. A woman must notice which areas of her body must be covered. They should cover her body and dress in a way which doses not attract people's attention to her.
Hijab is one of the commandments of Allah. Hijab has benefits as a guard against any assault. Important thing about Hijab is that it gives you a dignity of a Muslim. Muslims who observe proper Hijab are protected from any sort of attraction to men. The most important of all is obedience to Allah.
Islam’s holy book, the Quran orders Muslims to dress in a modest faction, and say to the faithful woman to lower gaze, and to guard their private part. And also not to display their beauty except the face and hands. Hair should not be exposed because Islam considers it as half of the total beauty of women. Women must cover their bosoms and not to display their beauty except to their Mahrams.
Human being must distinguish themselves from animal by disciplined behavior. We are one community and the action of one-person will not reflect on other individuals but the whole community. For example when we are in a boat all of us are responsible to protect boat. When one of us makes a whole in the place which is located to him in the boat. When others tried to stop him he would claim that it is part of the boat and he is free to do whatever he wished. But if he is allowed continue the boat will sink and all of them would be drowned. In conclusion hijab will harm not only one person but also all of people. So all of us are responsible to protect community.
